Culinery Camp by Cinnamon

The latest chopping techniques, fun grocery runs, easy sautéing methods and many more action-packed activities are planned for this year’s Culinary Camp by Cinnamon. Whether it’s being trained on proper table etiquette, cooking up flavorful recipes or even gaining knowledge on nutrition and sustainable food practices,Cinnamon Culinary Camp has got it all. From exploring healthy food trends to learning about the importance of balanced meals, participants will receive the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from professional chefs while cooking alongside them. Children will be able to create a variety of different dishes, pair flavours and ingredients as well as learn an array of different cooking techniques.
Set up in the spirit of celebrating global cuisines, the Cinnamon Culinary Camp will teach different culinary styles and showcase food from around the world, from countries such as China, Italy, France, Sri Lanka and more.
Striving to instill a useful lifelong passion for the culinary arts in youngsters, this camp will not only unleash each child’s creativity and prowess in the kitchen, but will also help them to learn important life skills such as planning, discipline, hard work and organization. This novel programme is open for children between 7 to 13 years of age, and can accommodates a maximum of 50 kids.



Day 1 – 9 th of August

09.00 – 10.00: Ice breaker and team building session
10.00 – 11.30: Kitchen 101 (Get an understanding of basic kitchen utensils and ingredients)
11.30 – 13.00: Kitchen 102 (Watch a live demo by a professional chef)
13.00 – 14.00: Buffet lunch
13.00 – 14.00: Learn the basics of table etiquette (learn about crockery placement, table manners and etc).
14.00 – 17.00: Go on a fun grocery run


Day 2 – 10th of August

09.00 – 10.00: Team building activities
10.00 – 11.30: Ayubowan – Enjoy a fun cooking session at the Nugagama Restaurant
11.30 – 13.00: Italiano – Whip up scrumptious Italian favourites and staples
13.00 – 14.00: Lunch with the team
14.00 – 13.30: Ni Hao – Master the art of creating exciting Chinese dishes
13.30 – 17.00: Fusion – Learn how to mix different culinary styles to create contemporary fusion meals


Day 3 – 11th of August

09.00 – 10.00: Team building activities
10.00 – 12.30: Baking Boot Camp – learn the basics of baking
12.30 – 13.30: Lunch
14.00 – 16.00: Cake Decorating Challenge
16.00 – 17.00: Awards and wrap up session
